“Food for Thought”
Reversal of Creation
Qur’an Says:
And whomsoever We grant long
life, We reverse him in creation (to go back from strength to weakness).
(Yaseen 36/68)
Ageing
(or senescence):
According to modern knowledge, Ageing is the degenerative
process in an organism that precedes death.
What happens in this process here are some example:
(Macmillan Encyclopedia,
2002 edition, Page # 19.)
·
Smooth and shiny, soft and silky black hair turns
grey, brittles and thins out.
·
Glowing milky and rosy complexion becomes ashy and wrinkled.
·
Nut cracking teeth fall down.
·
Ram-rod back hunches.
·
Starry eyes of the youth become myopic.
·
Confident steps of youth slacken.
·
The robust and healthy becomes weak and ailing.
·
Confidence of the youth, that one is master of his
fate turns to dismay.
·
Host of friends disappear, leaving one lonely.
·
There are memories instead of plans.
One
must be thankful while “going is good”
and prepare for the life, hereafter.
